Submissions closedAn artifact you kept and loved through loss or change like a letter, old cleats, or a keepsake.
It belongs here. Tell us its story.
What kind of magic can we discover when we celebrate our loss and share it with others? There's an astounding beauty to behold in the objects we keep that remind us of what we've loved and lost. Bringing pain and darkness to the light gives us the power to author meaning for ourselves. Sharing it with others can change lives.
Your grandma's recipe card, the jersey from a career cut short by injury, your soul dog's collar, a rejection letter from your dream college are reminders of a life lived wholeheartedly. So are the creative works loss moved you to create: a painting, a piece of music, or poetry that remind us that loss is an addition by subtraction.
It's a pop-up experience that's one part art gallery, one part gathering. It shares the ordinary, personal objects we've kept through loss and the works we've created inspired by loss.
Not at all. That's the whole point. We're intentionally curating a gallery of paintings, photography, poetry, and creations of all kinds alongside loved objects, artifacts, and mementos of all the things we've loved.

John Jeff, author of Gutsy Grief: Turning Loss Into Self-Discovery created The Museum of All the Things We've Loved as a way to bring grief and loss out in the open where we can meet them with warmth, humor, and love.
